Storyboard: Using ChatGPT and Canva to Create a Storyboard

I originally created the images in ChatGPT Pro, which was much faster and easier than Canva, and then transferred them to Canva to add text and manage the colors and font size.

This activity is best done in pairs, can be used to teach any foreign language, and is editable so students can add their own sentences.

Student A is searching for an apartment. Student B is the real estate agent. They greet each other, confirm the showing of the apartment, and ask a question about the apartment in the target language, using three full sentences.
Student B shows the bathroom. Student A asks about the shower, water pressure, storage space, or any needed repairs. Include three questions and three helpful answers in the target language.
Student A and Student B discuss the rental application or lease. Ask and answer questions about rent, deposit, lease length, move-in date, and documents in three full sentences using the target language.
Student B shows the kitchen. Student A asks about the appliances, storage space, and whether anything is included with the apartment. Include three questions and three helpful answers in the target language.
Student B shows an unfinished bedroom. Student A asks what will be completed before moving in. Talk about the floor, walls, closet, window, or move-in date in the target language.
Student A and Student B discuss handing in the apartment key, the move-in date, and the final instructions, while expressing their gratitude to each other in three full sentences using the target language.
